Welcome Aboard

Today we boarded the M/S Polaris to start our fantastic journey through the Galapagos Islands. After the long travel day, the warm welcome by the staff was much appreciated. Lunch followed by a siesta and a briefing on expedition behavior, and then we got our first taste of the islands with a Zodiac (panga) ride to the northwest coast of Santa Cruz Island - Cerro Dragon and the islet of Venencia.
