Our last full day started with a sunrise walk to the top of Bartolome - a climb of 372 steps through spatter cones and lava piles. We enjoyed a beautiful site from the top as the sun was just hitting Pinnacle Rock. After breakfast we enjoyed a walk along the golden beaches, including a sighting of white-tipped reef sharks, and swimming and snorkeling at the base of Pinnacle Rock. In the afternoon we took a lovely shoreline walk along Puerto Egas and were treated to a newborn sea lion (with placenta!) a soccer game, a wonderful sighting of the Galapagos Hawk, and the grottoes with fur sea lions.
